After payment verification, your friend receives their credit. There’s no referral report to submit after pledging.

How referral credit works

The reward goes to your friend. The participating customer who sent this personal link can earn $50 in PledgeBox credit when you become a qualifying paid torch backer. Their credit can be used for additional torches and accessories in our PledgeBox checkout. This is not a discount on your pledge or a cash payment.

Sign up now, back later. We record the referral at signup and match the same email to Kickstarter’s backer records later. Signup alone does not earn credit or place a Kickstarter pledge.

What qualifies. A different person must back a Camp Torch reward that includes a torch and successfully pay for that pledge. We award once per qualifying referred backer, even if they buy multiple torches. Reservations, no-reward pledges, self-referrals, duplicate claims, canceled or refunded pledges, and failed or unpaid pledges do not qualify.

Verification. We review referral signup records and successful payments before issuing credit. We review conflicting or suspicious records and award at most one referral reward per qualifying backer. Use the same email on Kickstarter so the records can be matched.
