Friends gathered around Camp Torch at dusk

Some bring
string lights.
Others bring
the fire.

You're the one who makes the weekend happen. Camp Torch is how you make it unforgettable.

The World's First Modular
Primal Lighting System.

One Torch. Three Modes.

Camp Torch transforms in seconds. Its interlocking poles let you switch between modes, no tools required.

Torch Mode
01

Beacon Mode

Replaces the floodlight. A 6-foot torch throws firelight 60 feet in every direction — enough to cook, move, and work after dark without a headlamp killing the atmosphere.

Campfire Mode
02

Campfire Mode

Low and central. Real flame warmth for the crew without a fire pit. The circle forms before you ask anyone to sit down.

Basecamp Mode
03

Basecamp Mode

One tank. Three torches. One connection.
No extra fuel. No extra setup. Warmth, cooking light, and enough firelight to move freely after dark. The whole camp, running off a single propane source.

Not a better fire pit. A different category.

Primal lighting

360° radiant light

Full flame throws a 60ft+ ring of primal firelight — enough to gather, cook, set up, and stay long after dark.

Anti-Tip Shutoff. Fire Ban Safe

If it tips, it shuts off — instantly, automatically, every time. Burn-ban approved.

Packable design — Camp Torch broken down beside its carry case

Packable design

Breaks down into the included 22×8 inch bag. Fits in the trunk, straps to the rack, slides behind the seat.

Something ancient settles
when fire is lit.

LED lit camp at night

The Problem

400,000 years of human biology disagrees with your LED lantern.

Cold. Flat. Engineered for visibility, not for people. LED light lets everyone see and nobody feel anything.

Primal Lighting

Built around the biology of gathering.

Firelight triggers a neurological response no artificial source replicates. Heart rate slows. Conversation deepens. People stay. Camp Torch is built around that response. That's not nostalgia. That's biology.

Burn-Ban Compliant

When wood fires get banned, yours stays lit.

Restrictions on open flame grow every year, shrinking the season for gathering around a fire. Camp Torch is built to pass where wood can't.

Stage 2 burn ban compliant
Always check your local regulations.
Instant tip-over shutoff
Kills the gas the moment it falls — the safety standard bans are written around.

Prince, Boyd and Jimmi — founders of Camp Torch

The Founders

Built and tested on the river, not in a lab.

The first Camp Torch was a rough prototype strapped to a raft. When it lit up the riverbank, everything shifted. People leaned in. Conversations slowed. The night felt alive.

Two years. Six prototypes. Rivers, backcountry, backyards. We didn't stop until the fire was worthy of the moment.

Your questions,
answered.

That was our biggest concern as well. The answer is a resounding yes.

The Anti-Tip Shutoff kills the gas the moment it falls and the flame is out before the head hits the ground. Every unit is stability-tested. Tripod legs stake into the ground when you want it locked.

Standard propane connection, manual flame control, and sealed heat-resistant housing. Built to be left burning while you're elsewhere in camp.

Standard 20lb propane tanks — the same ones at any hardware store, gas station, or grill shop. One tank gives you 12+ hours of continuous flame.
12+ hours on high. 20+ hours on low. One tank runs the whole weekend.
Kickstarter launches this summer. We're aiming to ship this fall.
Yes. Campfire mode and torch mode both work on the patio. When you get home from the trip, it doesn't go in the shed; it goes on the deck.
Around 15 lb fully packed. The included bag is 22x8 inches.

The best crews deserve the best nights.
